Additional Consultation Services

Electrical System Design: We collaborate with architects and homeowners to create electrical systems designed for functionality. From placement of outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components, to planning for future upgrades, we provide expert advice.
Code Compliance: We ensure that the electrical design and installation adhere to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards within Dutchess, Columbia and Ulster counties. This includes verifying proper grounding, circuit protection, and load calculations.
Energy Efficiency: We provide expert recommendations for energy-efficient lighting, appliances, and electrical systems to reduce energy consumption and lower utility costs. We also can help with calculations for the potential benefits of renewable energy sources, such as solar panels.
Electrical load analysis: We’ll assess the electrical load requirements of the residence to determine the appropriate size and capacity of the electrical panel and circuits. This helps prevent overloading and allows for future upgrades and add-ons.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving: We assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, such as power outages, faulty wiring, or electrical malfunctions. We’ll provide expert advice on upgrades or improvements to enhance the safety and performance of the system.
Cost estimation: Even if our schedule might o=not allow us to take the job ourselves, we can provide cost estimates for electrical materials, labor, and installation to help homeowners and contractors create budgets and pick contractors for doing the work.
